On 10 and 11 October 2026, the Fromagerie de Martigny was delighted to take part in the Swiss Cheese Awards in Fribourg, one of the key events in the Swiss cheese industry.

On this occasion, we were present at the Cheese Market with our chalet, decked out in the colours of the Fromagerie de Martigny, to introduce our artisanal specialities to visitors from all over Switzerland.

Throughout the weekend, many people were able to sample our cow’s, goat’s and sheep’s milk raclette cheeses free of charge – a wonderful opportunity to showcase our expertise and the richness of our three types of milk. True to our motto, ‘Three milks, one Valais character’, we shared our passion with a curious and enthusiastic audience. The tastings were brilliantly hosted by our very own ‘in-house’ raclette specialist, Raclette Guy, who skilfully introduced everyone to all the subtleties and flavours of our raclettes in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to everyone who came to visit us over the two days, as well as to the organisers of this exceptional event. These interactions with cheese lovers are always a source of motivation and pride for our whole team.
